NATO Strap Size

I can't wait to see the snarky replies on this one. I like to use NATO straps that are 1-2mm larger than the lug width, even if a perfect fit is possi...

Bonkers Grail Watch

I like it. There is a tension in a compressed southern hemisphere to accomodate branding up top, but the equator is laterally placed to the golden rat...

Start adding in some Tudors. They do the experimental stuff that Rolex would never dare try. And don't do steel. Go bold...Bronze 43mm, 58 925 or (Ti)Pelagos. You'll find they're just as good as Rolex and significantly compliment the already impressive collection.

Barton strap here as well. I have the same size and color as you have there. It doesn't work on much (wierd hue of blue), but when it does...well done!

That O&W with the off-sized NATO. It screams "weekend tool"

My reasoning is that it is more comfortable as it distributes the weight over a greater area; it's sort of amazing how an extra mm or 2 will change how a watch feels on the wrist. Also, some watches, in my opinion, seem to be more visually pleasing with a little extra width in the strap (this OW is a good example as it has really long lugs that strap overlap seems to break up in a pleasing way). So there we go, 2 validations of lesser or greater logic. Thanks for replying.

I like it that O&W is overlooked or unknown by most. If I were to be restricted to just 1 watch, this may be it. Prost!

Rolex(vs??)TUDOR

Quick and useful read. I agree. Although not a Sub/BB58 combo, I have both, together topping my collection. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-tudo...
