Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
not really, there are some I've bought for myself for things like promotions, but the only one with real sentimental value is my 1970 Seiko Navigator Timer GMT. The watch was handed down to me by my grandfather when he died. Still runs relatively well despite being 54 years old, and likely never having been serviced!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take it slow, it's tempting to buy a lot of watches in a short amount of time!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Been looking to add a German watch to the collection lately - love the minimalist designs and impressive movement finishing. Hoping to add either a Nomos or Glashutte Original this year.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A Lange & Sohne, Lange 1. It's one of the most beautiful and best finished watches I've ever seen - love the craftsmanship and artistry that goes into the design and hand finishing / engraving
