It was IWC's first Aquatimer back in the 2000s and when I saw the ad in the newspaper (lol), I knew I had to have it.
This is the first version and it indeed came with some articulation issues with the bracelet due to the hardening treatment. Second Hour were very responsive and sent all of us a replacement, no questions asked.
I do believe it has been resolved in V2 but I do not have hands-on experience from it.
Amazing watch, though, highly recommend it.
I got it new 20 years ago and I still think it’s a stunner. The proportions and general tooly feel in a great package really does it for me.
