The NH35 is a reliable and widely used automatic movement by Seiko Instruments Inc. It's known for its accuracy and durability, commonly found in various watch brands.
I have been impressed with this movement, several of my watches have this movement. And i give it a beating. Seiko is an amazing brand.

I have been able to make this movement as accurate as a Rolex in several watches +- 2 secs a day or better.

Just curious how you did this? Are you a watchmaker?
The inline-6 engine of watches. Great movement.
Love it! I’ve had a timegrapher on my Amazon wishlist for a while. Need to look at those again. Thanks!
I’ve built over 35 custom watches and Seiko mods all using NH35/36/34 movements. They are rock solid, inexpensive and perfect for modding considering the abundance of cases, dials and hands they are compatible with.
The Rolex was designed to be regulated in all 6 positions where the Japanese ones can at best find an average between them. Usually they are adjusted face up and forget the rest but crown down is important too.
I just made a post in a similar thread about how I once put a 4R36 in a box of scrap watch parts to bin it, and it sat there for over a year. I noticed the balance moving at some point, so out of curiosity I took it out and cased it up. It ran fine with an adjustment. I was very shocked, lol.
