Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
While I was in college, my parents gifted me a MVMT watch (yes, I know) which I loved and wore every day for almost two and a half years. Years later, I was gifted my first automatic watch which opened my eyes to nicer watches. This left me wanting to learn more about the movements and the history behind them.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Some cheap Casio that I had as a kid. I wish I could find it but I’m pretty sure I buried it somewhere because it had an alarm set on it and I didn’t know how to turn it off 🙃 However my first automatic was a Seiko SNKL23, which is my favorite so far.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Omega Speedmaster. I absolutely love the history behind it and I’m a sucker for space stuff. Also the Tudor BB58 but the Pelagos 39 is calling my name now.
