Lately I have been interested in watches that are made from ceramic. That being said, I usually associate ceramic with things that are breakable (like the vases pictured) which makes me worried that I would have to treat it very carefully. That being said, I am not seeing a bunch of pictures or stories of people whose watches broke or shattered... So while I understand that ceramic watches can break or shatter, is it something I should be really worried about, or is it like other mechanical watches in the way that they can be damaged by a big bump, but hardy enough for daily wear?

The truth is, I'm very solid, I haven't had any problems.
I have an Omega DSOM, Longines ceramic HydroConquest, looking for a few more not overly concerned with breaking but the problem is more the price of the watches!
