Which seiko

I'm impressed with the seiko divers, owning one myself, but now I have to upgrade to one that is dressier and kinda looks like a submariner (and is available in my country).

I've narrowed it down to two choices, 1. the sumo 2. Baby marine master mm200

Which would you choose and if ther are any other recommendations around the 1k mark

They both seem incredibly similar.  But, here's what I've been able to gather just by googling a few things:

  • The SPB101J1 is cheaper
  • It has a longer power reserve at 70 hours
  • It has the 6R35 movement, while the other has the 6R15, and here's what Calibrecorner has to say about it:  "The Seiko caliber 6R35 is an automatic movement that is part of what Seiko refers to as the high performance 6R series caliber. The 6R35 is considered an upgrade from the caliber 6R15"

If you are looking for a dressier option I would say go for the Sumo. The arrow hour hand on the Baby Marinemaster looks sportier.
