Best Casio Tiffany Blue Watch

I own the MTP-1302PD, and it's a good watch for the $40 I paid for it. I like it, but I would not pay full retail ($80) for it, let alone above retail. The case is alloy and the bracelet is folded and pressed. I replaced the stock bracelet with an inexpensive solid link bracelet which added about $12 to the cost. I didn't even try wearing the stock bracelet because I have a history of getting my arm hairs pulled by rolled bracelets.

Materials aside, I like the fluted bezel and I think the MTP-1302PD looks better than the MTP-B145D.

While I've seen the MTP-B145D in the store displays, I don't have any hands on experience with it. The Casio website says the case it stainless steel. If true, then that could be in its favor, but only if you prefer the way it looks over the MTP-1302PD.

This is a very long-winded way of saying they are both inexpensive quartz watches and you should get the one you think looks better and feels good on your wrist.

I didn't vote because neither is a Tiffany Blue watch. Tiffany Blue is a specific color and a trademark of Tiffany & Co. Casio did not license the use of that trademark from Tiffany.

From Wikipedia:

Tiffany Blue is the colloquial name for the light medium robin egg blue color associated with Tiffany & Co., the New York City jewelry company created by Charles Tiffany and John Young in 1837. The color was used on the cover of Tiffany's Blue Book, first published in 1845. Since then, Tiffany & Co. has used the color extensively on promotional materials like boxes and bags.

Since 1998, the Tiffany Blue color has been registered as a color trademark by Tiffany & Co. It is produced as a private custom color by Pantone, with PMS number 1837, the number deriving from the year of Tiffany's foundation.
