Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have always liked watches. Do not regard myself as a collector but I like having nice timepieces and keeping my eyes open for something new.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
It was a Castrol watch I got from my Dad. Must have been five years old. First proper watch was a small and simple Oris I got when I started first grade.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
An early 1960s Heuer Rally-Master in mint condition that has some actual racing pedigree from two Monte Carlo rallies and a multitude of national rallies in Finland.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Be curious. Don't worry nor hurry. Learn. Be happy and proud of what you have.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Heuer and Omega.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Haven't encountered one yet.
