I would always go with a non-sterile dial. To many Ali express drop ship watches with sterile No logo/name dials in my opinion. From my viewpoint though, I would go with Stowa over Laco anyday. Having owned both, the fit and finish, quality, and of course thermal blued hands on the Stowa are superior. Here’s mine (manual, not auto)

Two things I’ve noted throughout the years regarding Squale.

1) Very poor quality control (personal experience) on more than one piece. Also lume and overall finishing is lackluster.

2) Something I find very suspect is through Squale’s official website I don’t see any mention (correct me if I missed something here) on the many, MANY direct homage watches sold on websites such as Gnomon Watches, and to a lesser extent Long Island watch. Why is that? Seems suspect to me personally, that there seems to be a differentiation between what Squale has made available directly through them versus the plethora of homages they make for Gnomon and others.

lastly, and this is unsubstantiated, but there were rumors in the past regarding much of Squale’s range of watches being fully made in China

Currently the only watch I own, the EZM 13.1

A little late to the party here, but being admittedly totally biased I can whole heartedly recommend the EZM 13.1. For me this watch is the quintessential Sinn: a go anywhere do anything tool watch. Great for whatever adventure you’re up to while and can still work in a typical office setting
