I also own 2 swatches that I also posted alil while ago. my most quirky watch would be my vostoc amphiba and my sterngals asthic white from a German micro brand. just a small collection for now
For sure, but there’s definitely some joy in reaching for the same watch everyday knowing exactly what ur getting into with that routine.
I think that they were trying more to get the idea of the defender in the watch than the actual design. I feel that Using a car design langue for a watch wouldn’t work out well for it may turn out more gimicky or may not even come across at all. very nice watch though. which then explains the titanium case and sellita movement built to last
I personally like to think that they keep to a similer design on purpose so that they add to the brand character. If they were to make something completely new it would take away from the personality that Nomos Caries. which is what I feel is a main selling point for them and why a lot of people including me love the brand
I own a seiko SPRE57 and it was my grad gift. unfortunately for what ever reason something internally had broke and the hour hand stopped moving. Even though the cost of repair was almost half the cost of the watch, I still went ahead and got it repaired due To the value it held to me
