My perspective is from a different life stage.... I've got my grails as I've collected for a long time, I didn't even consider purchasing a dive watch until I was over 65. However, after reading some Hodinkee, I bought an SKF, a Willard, and an SPB239. I'm not a diver, so it's kind of silly to buy a serious diver like a Pelagos, Submariner or Doxa. I'll put on my JLC Reverso Trib 2016, read a book, .... and forget my folly. I'm admiring the new Speedmaster "Spirate" adjuster... but, well... back to my book.
