NWA - A summer ready edition of the Sternglas Naos
Last week i looked at my collection and thought to myself, that is a lot of black dials on steel bracelets and with the change in the weather and season going towards summer i wnated for some colour and fun. I have been keeping an eye on Sternglas for a while and quite like their designs so in the moment of purchase the choice stood between this yellow quartz edition or the new Lumatik version.
I chose the quartz because of the thickness of Sternglas' automatic models, 12 mm without the crystal is just a bit too chunky, especially taken into account the 43 mm lug to lug which makes the watches quite bulbous. Another little complaint is that the native strap is too long for my wrists, i bought a 38 mm watch because it should fit on a smaller wrist, but it doesn't look like sternglas takes this fact into account when diciding the length of the supplied strap. even with it tightened to the smallest it could get it was still loose on my 6.1 inch (15,5 cm) wrist. this is however not that big of a deal as the supplied strap is dark gray / black and i wanted a much lighter colour strap for it anyways.
I have been collecting watches for a while now. However, I am just starting to develop my taste and collection, so still pretty new to it all.
