Designs that should return; The jump hour digi-disc

Do you agree that this design deserves a rerun and what other designs do you think deserves another chance?

Now I admit that I am a sucker for old art deco watches, but having said that there is one design I think should be brought back and that is the jump hour digi-disc. It's such a simple and elegant design that is truly timeless and quite simple in its construction. Being the perfect amalgamation of the Reverso and old hunter case pocket watches.

Yeah i've seen that one and it is quite nice. However you do pay a lot for the Gucci name and it is not a jump hour 🤔

Yeah i bet you could play polo with this without turning it over 😉😂

Yeah i like the computron, specifically the angled display 😁 but i would like it more if the display was always on (and that it had no effect on battery life) 😉

Mine's in a slightly different style, bit I am also a sucker for a jump hour.

Thank you! Word of warning though, most of these 70s jump hours came with lower-quality pin-pallet movements. Even some with 17 jewels used variants of the infamous BFG 866. Servicing them isn't easy, but I have done it with the aid of some patience and classical music.

Despite this, they are still very hard to resist.
