I would say the patina is not genuine, as this is pretty much the way it was when I bought it. As for the hands, I'm going to take your word for it, I am by no means an expert. I just simply buy what I like.
It looks very cool anyway. I mean the arrow above the 6 o clock, I thought that was called a broad arrow but I could be wrong and you have the best idea...buy what you like.
