Both are nice but the Daytona has that certain omph. For instance, observe the crispness of the letteriong on the bezel of the Datona vs the Seiko. It is just that little bit better that pushes the Rolex to an eleven (11). 😎
Seeing them together really emphasizes why the “seitona” nickname undersells the Speedtimer. They’re distinct designs with each drawing from its own brand’s lineage.
The Rolex is nicer but its definitely not 50 times nicer as the price would suggest!
Both stunning. Weirdly though drawn to the seiko. Slightly grittier look on the crown and pushers.. both beautiful though🤝

Yup, it would be a perfect $4-5k chrono, but $15k? Hell no
Seiko dial, the full black subdial with the contrasting white hands are easier to read. The case, the rolie seems more robust in design.
I lean towards the Seiko.
