Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Saw an advert for Watchfinder,looked on the app and was amazed at the prices of some of the watches.I’ve been hooked ever since.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Seiko perpetual alarm.Had lots of functions was going to be my only watch for life (not).
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
After having owned and sold an Omega Moonwatch I saw the Bulova Lunar Pilot which I bought for my 70th birthday.It’s as good as the Omega but more accurate and I don’t have to wind it up.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Stick to a budget.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Bulova.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A Patek Philippe Calatrava because it personifies perfection.
