Great collection, been eyeing the AP diver myself. Yet to try one on though. As for a dress watch I agree with @Pascal. I really love the lange saxonia outsize date. Adds som extra life to the dial without making it non-dressy.

16570 is one of my favorites as well. I'm a sucker for the 5 digit sport models with the same case, such as the 14060 and 16710. 

The example you tried on looks to be in great condition! I'm looking for a black one myself to accompany my polar. But they are hard to find in the condition of the one in your picture.
 

Totally understandable. The hype is usually created by people who've never owned, wore and experienced the watch. Just because something looks great online it doesn't mean the wearing experience will be (and vice versa of course). 

Agreed. Not two brands that should be compared, both have clear benefits over the other. A good collection have room for both 👍
