SOTC - March 2024

Hello Crunchers!

In my previous post, I have shared with you my watch journey from the past to present. It was a very long text, so I thought to share a short second version of the same topic but with the current collection only.

In the picture you can see my current watch box. 17 watches in total and 2 of them were gifted to me. I am collecting different dial tones, three handers, elegant sportspieces on stainless steel from around 36-39mm case size and lug to lug of around 43-48mm.

If you want to read how I get there, read my previous post. From every watch in the box I will also upload a better picture to the comment section with the following order.

First line (left to right): Citizen NB1050 / 38mm / black, Tudor Style / 38mm / black, Seiko Presage SPB169, Casio Edifice EFR108.

Second line (left to right): Seiko SARB035 / 38mm / white, Longines Saint Imier / 38.5mm silverwhite, Citizen EcoDrive BM7620 / 38mm / white.

Third line (left to right): Guess Quartz (received as present) / around 39mm / blue, Grand Seiko SNGX265 /37mm / blue, Rolex Oyster Perpetual / 39mm / blue, Casio MTP1302 / 38mm / turquoise light blue, Certina DS7 / 39mm / turquoise light blue.

Last line: Tissot Tradition Perpetual Calender / 42mm / white and gold, Seiko 5 SNXS81 / 37mm/ gold & yellow, Rolex DateJust / 36mm / salmon, Tissot PRC200 / 39mm / brown, Casio MTP1302 / 38mm / red.

Let‘s see how the journey continues. I know that the collection needs maybe a Omega Aqua Terra, why not a BlackBay 36 or an underdog like the Bulova Surveyor or an OrientStar.

Now it’s your turn.

What kind of watches would you recommend, without changing the subject of my collection here and staying loyal to traditional brands (I know Traska would fit perfect into my collection).

Where did you get the display case?

It is from a brand called Gisoni. I only have the link from the seller in Germany https://www.uhrenarmbandshop.de/35878-Gisoni-Travo-Uhrenkoffer-36st/ but if you search for Gisoni 36 watchbox maybe you can find something in your region. However the build quality is not the perfect one and I have replaced the watch cushions as the originals are too big and too hard.

Thanks! I live in Germany, so that's actually perfect.

Also, you've got a fantastic collection. I think a PRX or Tsuyosa would fit in well.

Oh thats great than you can order it directly.. thanks for your recommendations. I had both models before and sold them again as 40mm is too big for my wrist and the 35mm PRX too small. I found my integrated bracelet peace/piece :) in the Certina DS7
