A lot of people just parrot what they’ve read elsewhere and some of those weren’t even around at the time of the quartz crisis and what unfolded thereafter.
Tag Heuer make great watches at all price points, sure the Formula 1 has poor clasps, no anti- reflective coatings and consists mainly of quartz movements, but so what. Their heritage even post Heuer remains strong, just enjoy whatever floats your boat and let others build up that special relationship with their AD buying watches they don’t want to get the one they do.😁
Mine arrived this morning, second Chinese homage watch in my collection now. I was always sceptical of quality, reliability etc, time will tell on the latter but the former sure does punch above its weight.
They get stick for their marketing but they sure do make a fine watch for the money.
