Sharing the ultimate(IMO) couple watch for this Valentine's Day

Hi all,

1st post here. I had the chance to purchase 2 watches from Kurono Tokyo last year and thought it would be the perfect 2 to share for this V-day. I absolutely love the dial colours as well as the art-decor style. Compared to my usual watches >39mm, these definitely wears small but i think it's fine.

1 common "complaint" I get is that the watches are expensive as it's using a simple Miyota movement. Do you think a the value of a watch is simply based just on movement or there are a al ot more in your checklist.

Looking forward to hear from you

I love my Toki but failed in the lottery to get an allocation for my wife with the Seiji. A beautiful pair of watches

Kurono Tokyo is a brand that fascinates me. I did not know a lot about this brand but their dials are awesome.

I don't too. But I'm captivated by the dial. Although a lot has been said it's overpriced as one is simply paying for the dial. However to me, creating a dial like this also demands a certain level of skills. If Kurono is to have a better movement, , together with the dial it has now, the price will definitely be much more.

Also, the person behind Kurono is pretty amazing too, Hajime Asaoka is a pretty amazing watchmaker too :)

Good looking watches, but I have to agree that they're very overpriced for a Miyota movement.

All the efforts they put into these make them worth it. He is an watch expert and he will have reason why using these movements. The design is very distinctive and can even tell it is Kuruno Tokyo even from other side across the room.
