I opted to wear the quartz variation today. 

Yes it is... it actually bothers me that it says SWISS MOVADO MADE at the bottom. 🤣 

If you're going for the minimalist look then why have any text printed on the dial? I personally don't care for watches that have all of their stats on the dial but it's near impossible to find any that don't. 

Maybe Happiehairypalm was already taken?

A seconds hand is neither here nor there for me.  However, if the seconds hand does not hit the minute markers precisely then I would rather it not be there at all.

I remember seeing ads for this watch back in the 80's when I was a pre-teen and I was immediately in love. I'm a less is more kinda guy so this watch was right up my alley. Fast forward about 40 years later and I finally buy one only to find out that the watch community hates this brand. I get a lot of compliments from my friends though, which is nice, but wearing it simply takes me back to that time when I first fell in love with a watch.
