Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
A conversation at work which lead to discovering the Mad Watch Collector YouTube channel and finding out that my selection of Casios for different purposes qualified as a collection. So I started adding to it.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Yellow Karma Sutra Pop Swatch. I don't think my mum realised what the "pretty patterns" were. Nor did I at the time. Got some sniggers at school.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
You need a Casio as a benchmark.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Tudor, Seiko, Bremont, Longines.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Tudor North Flag. It has the heritage without shouting about it and looks DAF!
