I have a few other Orient watches that are of a bit higher level and have the "40N5A" and not the standard "F6922" movements.
Are the 40N5A movements mainly in the orient star models? I saw online that that movement is also in the triton model. I really dig that orient makes their own in-house movements.

Thanks Alan! I find that on most days, the watch dictates what I wear, so that matching shirt would be key!
That sunburst dial on this Orient is fabuloso!

I think I would have to agree! 🙃
I would really appreciate some helping info !
This watch should be a 3rd generation of this family , right ?
But what I cannot decide is, which one is it exactly ?
It has some RAY in it as well as some MAKO and KAMASU.
It cannot be a KANO because they are a bit larger ! Right ?

This is the model number: RA-AA0814R19B
I was 100% sure it was a 2nd gen Kamasu. Orient refers to all their models as model numbers. When I Google it, it may be Kamasu Mako III. https://kibblewatches.co.uk/products/2022-orient-kamasu-mako-iii-red-brown-auto-ra-aa0814r19b
These are my 2nd generation pearls:
RAY II : FAA02005D9
MAKO II : FAA02002D9
KANNO : RA-AA0010B19B
and KAMASU : RA-AA0006L19B
and I almost forgot the unique RAVEN RAY II : FAA02003B9

Your orient collection is very impressive! I’m totally digging your Kanno. That’s a matted navy blue right? Very nice.

The Kanno (Nato strap) is actually matte Black !
