I have alwayyysss wanted a Nautilus ever since I have seen it. Of course it is not perfect but for $120 … oh no it is! Yes, I am talking about the minor differences between this one and the Patek Phillippe one, although this is not a fake which is something to be concerned… Building on the… the watch DEMANDS presence!!!
The stainless steel looks brilliant, the brushing is great and the polishing is immaculate. Yes there are some differences in very few links in their outer chamfer, but thise were the ones that I took out for the resize and now were good. If anything… hand made yeah? 😂

I am very happy I got that watch… over the moon happy. And especially that it comemorates something that is extremely near and dear to my heart.

A watch ORIENTed SEIKOpath… I love authenticity and craftsmanship in a watch. to me an exceptional watch is a watch that is manufactured exceptionally well under the microscope. I find it mind blowing...
I have to agree. There is something to be said about homages in my opinion.. I will never be able to afford some of these beautiful watches and would never buy a fake to pretend something I don't have. Example, I love the Rolex Explorer II 1655. Right now on the market it's over $30k.. they no longer make but, it was one of my Grail. When this PD 1693 showed up I jumped. No it's not like the original. Large case and different hands but, at $70, I feel I have a nice representation of that piece of history. Enjoy your watch my friend. I think it's beautiful and will also be on my radar.
