Damn, all I ever needed to turn pro was an over priced wrist watch and I kept investing in lighter bicycle parts.

Well I went through the same quandary a couple of years ago when choosing a new bike to go to work on,the upper echelon cyclist set you had to go carbon, so I did and got one with carbon forks but the can of cider( perfect sports drink, vit C  and sugars) and the extra cost of the carbon meant I couldn't afford the peice of horology advertised, and had to wear a steel seiko which added more weight which totally messed up my training schedule, knackered my calorie count and needless to say I didn't win the tour de france( or the tour de go to work, one big hill(( did it once an nearly died)) so I'll stick to my roots next time a Raleigh grifter, corduroy trousers  and sporting a casio and the lycia clad yellow Jersey Boys watch out up that big hill🚴
