Better person than me. I built in an area surrounded by woods, after the first fall season, I immediately put gutter guards in to never deal with this again. Perhaps the best $1000 I spent on my house.

Split pool noodle parts will cushion the gutter to prevent scratching and also grip a little to prevent sliding sideways. nice watch btw.
