Oris Aquis Custom - One of a kind!

Today I received back my Oris Aquis Date 43.5mm in matte black (the one with the SW200 movement).
Originally it had the reference 01 733 7730 4154-07 4 24 64EB.
I had sent it to Oris to brush the polished lugs and crown guards to convert it into reference 01 733 7730 4124-07 4 24 64EB.
But they also brushed the bezel which I absolutely love! It was kinda 50:50 if they eventually do it due to non-optimal communication. But the customer support was generally awesome and a very pleasant experience. As part of the package it was also serviced.
It is now a unique custom piece. As far as I know none of the Oris Aquis have a brushed bezel.
I am wearing the Aquis on an aqnaut strap adapter from Etsy with a Christopher Ward black hybrid strap with matching brushed SS hardware.
I am extremely happy with it and wanted to share it with this nice community of watch enthusiasts!
Also this was my very first mechanical watch in I believe 2021. Probably I'll never sell it!

Me neither. I went to the Zurich boutique (I live in Switzerland) and just asked. It seems everything is possible. They are very flexible.
Oris is slept on, for sure. Yeah, they make some hideous watches like the F1 they made. But Rolex makes the Yacht Master 2, one of the objectively ugliest watches ever made. But when you look at Oris’ vintage catalogue and some of their modern Pro Pilot and Pointer Date models, gorgeous.

Fully agree. That's why Oris is the only brand I have two watches from.

I think it's 12.5mm. It works surprisingly well and does not have too much presence on the wrist.
I have a 6.75" wrist and was thinking of the 41.5 model. No AD near me so i might just have to take a chance. Always loved the look of them.
