FUGLY or am I just a watch snob?

Got given this as a birthday present. Had never heard of SKMEI via Alibaba so looked them up. Southern China and they make a heap of cheap pieces. For a solar, it's nothing on an Eco-drive or Seiko Solar. Am I wrong or is this hideous? I'm sure there are tons in landfill by now.

The quality, or at least durability, may surprise you, but the aesthetic is ... not my cup of tea either.

No more repugnant aesthetically than any Casio G-Shock, tho Im sure it's not as durable.

Gift it to a kiddie that'll appreciate it,it may even spark a life long hobby 😉👍🏻
