totally agree.. I am sure the finishing big and movement are amazing. Just for me, there is nothing aesthetically pleasing, no interesting dial, no interesting complications just a really well built fleiger with an in house movement. I was not trying to compare orient to this, I was saying I’d rather buy the orient than the $9000 IWC. It’s not as good, but I’d rather spend the other $8800 elsewhere. :)
well that’s condescending and insulting. I’ll have the opinions I have, thank you. and I’m not picking a battle, I‘m giving my opinion that watch is a rip off and I don’t like it.. You want to buy a $9000 fleiger that looks like every other fleiger, enjoy. That’s your opinion and prerogative. i won’t call you dumb, and return your insult in kind, I’ll just bid you a good day.
IWC…. $9000 for a Fleiger with an in house movement? I’ll take an Orient Pilots watch with an in house movement for $200 and take a cruise and buy a purple bed.
just Doesn’t make sense to me, i know they make other cool stuff, but who buys those Fleigers and why?
I really like it. i have 2 other Traskas and they are all top notch. This one is now my favorite just barely edging out the blue summiteer.
Thanks!! Yeah I’ve never been to sweet republic, but sugar bowl is good. We have the 2nd best Mexican food outside of Mexico in Phoenix(Tucson is the best) so that’s a good thing!
