Smiths Everest in Gilt

I always loved Seiko because of their 'bang for buck' but as their prices started heading north, I looked towards the microbrands.

Timefactors is arguably the first microbrand as we think of them now. Their first watch in 2001 was the PRS-1 Speedbird and their second, the Dreadnought spawned many, many dive watch microbrands.

This PRS-25 gilt Everest from Timefactors is probably the most versatile watch in my collection. The high beat 4hz Miyota has been incredibly accurate. 100m water resistant with sapphire crystal and Anti-magnetic soft iron movement cover, it's a GADA watch.  To my eyes, it looks good on the standard bracelet, feels better on the jubilee bracelet, looks great on leather or NATO.  I've always fancied a Rolex 1016 but will never own one.  This gives me that 1016 look and feel without the outlay and then the certain fear that I'd break or lose the thing.

I tried to get the jubilee last time it was offered but it was gone by the time I got to the checkout screen. Better luck next time I suppose lol.. but yeah, I love mine too 🙌🏾🙌🏾

If you ever decide to let it go please look me up

I managed to snag the Silver Jubilee version, but kinda wish I had gotten the gilt dial instead. Oh well, I suppose there’s always next year!

Do you guys know if any other jubilee bracelets will fit the prs-25 Everest?

The Geckota jubilee sold by Watch Gecko will fit it nicely. You need to buy the end links separately though.

They're nice looking watches and I've owned a few but they never seem to stick around. I think the farcical ordering and horror stories about customer service have turned me off.

Not sure but I think someone said they'd put one from watchgecko on.  You'll have to do some more googling to be sure.  Just seen @Just_a_watch_fan beat me to it.

Just joined the app not too long ago. While this is a old post and I’m not sure if you found a jubilee for your watch, I figured I would help out. Check Alpha 1993:https://alpha-1993.com/collections They sell quality products and have 20mm Jubilee bracelet that fits the Smiths.
