That one and only favorite watch.

Out of your whole collection if you could only pick out one piece, what would it be and why?

For me it’s my Tag Heuer 2001 Formula One chronograph. I personally think it’s one of the most beautiful F- 1 ‘s they’ve ever made. And it was also the first really “good” watches ever purchased. This is actually the second one, the first one was stolen. I loved it so much. I searched around and found another one identical to it.

My favorite of the bunch is my Seiko SLA043. Firstly, I am a sucker for blue. Many of my shirts are blue. I have a 20 year old blue BMW E46 ZHP that I constantly fix and can't bring myself to sell it. Secondly, the watch is well proportioned for my small wrist. Thirdly, the ever-brilliant steel is considerable brighter than any of my other watches. It's also a limited edition piece with a GS movement. I can't say enough. I'll shut up now.

She’s a timeless classic!

I wish I had purchased more Rolexes back when they were semi reasonably priced. 10 years ago, you can get a sub for about 5K now they’re going for double that.

My Seiko SNA 225 'Daytona'

Solid and dependable Seiko.

For me it’s my Tudor Black Bay GMT. It looks fantastic and it’s great value for money as I’m getting Rolex quality for a much lower price.

Oh yes - a series 2 F1 chrono. I love my series 1 rev 2 from 1991, I think these are quality little watches.

The watch that I genuinely have a lot of time for, and always enjoy getting out of the box, is the Kirium.

I have it on a rubber strap, so it is a little more flexible, but who doesn’t like a bit of 90s “jobbyness”?

You guys sucked me into that '90s TAG vibe. Though it's not my current favorite, it is my First, and only, for about a decade so technically it was my favorite for the longest. It still gets wrist time and I guess if I the criteria for favorite all-time watch was Total Amount of Wrist Time, this one would win for sure!
