Christmas gift

I love watches and I love clocks. Last year I made my daughter a clock for Christmas. It is made of pine. I hand painted all the numbers and hour markers in fun colors. She was 8 at the time. Her name is AJ(not Pebbles). The clock has a basic hobby/craft movement ran on 2AA batteries. She loved it. I enjoyed making it. I also made my father a clock as well. His was for his birthday in February. I was not on WC at the time. I wanted to share. Now time to get back in the workshop to make this years gift. I make something for her handmade every year. This year I  am making her a doll Dining room table (Barbie size) 1/6 scale. The other clock is one I made for my father for his birthday. It is reclaimed 80+ year old oak. It has maple hour markers that I stained ebony. The white clock ended up having a crackle in the finish on the final coat of clear polyurethane. the temperature was too cold for it to set correctly. I was horrified and no time to fix. Lesson learned.
