Snagged this Armitron for $10
I like how how this watch is reminiscent of the original Pular/Hamilton LED digital watches from the 70's, but even better because I prefer the blue.
I took a trip with my roommate to the local Walmart and I decided to browse the watch section, see if they had any sweet cheap Casinos. No luck in that regard, but I checked out the little clearance section, none of them spoke to me, but there was one watch face down. I couldn't see the watch or the price but I saw the model number and the Armitron security tag. So I looked it up and didn't think it looked half bad, but I wasn't in the mood to spend $60 on it. But doing the math on how much the other watches were priced at comparable to their MSRP, I was expecting it to be around $35. When an employee came by and was able to show the true price, I was surprised to see it marked only $24. I couldn't say no at that price, so she brought it up to the register, and miraculously it rang up for $10.
