My dad has a thing for watches. He peaked my interest for watches when I was young. He was always trading watches with my uncle and this influenced me.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I think it was a Beverly Hills 90210 watch. Don’t tell anyone.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Wait a while before you buy. Take some time studying the watch you like. Take a peek at it every day for a month or so and consider how it makes you feel in comparison to other watches that interest you. If the watch sticks on your radar and your interest level remains the same, you might have a winner.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Farer, Lorier, Christopher Ward.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Several. The Rolex Oyster perpetual for striking the perfect balance between casual and elegant looks. The Cartier Tank for it’s elegance as a dress watch. The Longines Spirit for having the best dial on an aviation watch (Longines Big eye close second).
