I'm very new to the hobby so haven't really had time to become brand specific. Got a couple of what experienced collectors may refer too as "Beaters" in the £400/700 range, but I'm yet to drop anything north of a £1000+.
I'm really enjoying looking at some of the amazing pieces on here and settling in to my new hobby.
Looking at the clever, intricate, engineering that goes into these pieces makes me smile....Pure Art!
That right there is a thing of beauty. You only tred this earth once my friend - if purchasing wrist sized works of art is your thing (as it is for pretty much everyone in this community), more power to you 🙌🏻
commented onNATO straps: Worth the premium or law of diminishing returns?·
I use NATO straps all the time and have bought from many different companies - my faves are BluShark, Crown and Buckle and Zuludiver.
Go for the ones made from seatbelt material. Far more comfortable than the standard nylon straps, and last a lot longer. Avoid Archer (too short) and Binlun (A lot of colour variants, but poorly made).
Some solid choices. Have to agree on Nico - he's insufferable. I find his humour immature and purile, nothing clever, just fart gags whilst trying to be edgy. Andrew Morgan, on the other hand, nails the humour with just the right amount of British sarcasm and dryness.
