I have been looking to add to my collection this year. Spent some time thinking about the doxa 200, navitimer, and zenith chrono original (posted about this earlier). However, in a moment of watch research delirium I bought the Ming 18.01 diver.
I have spent a few hours with the watch today and these are my initial thoughts.
Positive. The watch wears very well. It hugs the wrist really well and is v light. The dial is very well executed and plays with the light to create varying shades and colours throughout the day. The bezel feel is excellent as is the legibility.
Negatives. Still getting used to the Ming design aesthetic applied to a diver. For example, the graduations on the bezel only apply for the first 15 minutes. Not sure how practical that is for general use let alone 20m under. Also the crown feels a bit big and the curved lug strap means you can't use your existing strap collection.
The jury is still out. Will update my thoughts after a few days with the watch.

After five days with the Ming I am a fan of the brand and most importantly the watch.
The quality is very good, legibility amazing, the aesthetic is so unique and it is exciting to look down at the dial and see how the light is being reflected and manipulated.
