Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I think I stumbled over an article from Hodinkee maybe 10 years ago, and down the 🐇 hole I went.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Seiko watch that I bought myself. I knew nothing of watches, only that I thought it looked good. That’s all I know from past photos over 30 years old.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like and hit the google machine, eventually you’ll fall into this wonderful rabbit hole with the rest of us. 😂
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
A lot of microbrands, Lorier, Nodus, Vaer, Christopher Ward, Baltic etc.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My grail watch is a 40mm Rolex Datejust, blue dial with a smooth bezel on an oyster bracelet. But I’m curious on how a 36mm would look & fit on my 7.25 wrist.
