Opening the Swiss ๐Ÿช– watch

One of my favorite things when getting a watch is opening it up and seeing how it ticks.๐Ÿฅณ also why I like skeletons the most.๐Ÿ’œ

So I'm sure this is a great place to post the behind scenes of this gorgeous mother of pearl watch.

I was surprised it had a ETA swiss movement in there.

If anyone has details on this watch I'm open to learn more.

Haha I can see how that would look to someone. However this is obviously one of many mass produced watches from years passed. Since before the 90s brands have been outsourcing there own products to be made to there standard by the company. I see this being the case with many swiss watches priced less then $600. As far as I understood in the fashion world any pieace hand made is stamped in some way to show that otherwise assume they mass produced it in some way. This watch company if I've read up on it right has gone through many production changes like many swiss watch makers had to do to adapt to evolution of consumerism demands. So sadly not everything we know and love is being made exactly they way they did but it can be still appreciated for being a gorgeous time piece. Hope that clears that up for you. Cheers

It's fine, I just wanna make sure people understand who come across as well. I worry joining this site I'm in the wrong place as a watch enthusiast as I appreciate designs in there own ways whether is was 100% assembled in Switzerland or not. I've found many post with comments attacking people for having a quartz movement and that is mind boggling because it was still a gorgeous watch ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ I'm picky on the look of my watch and find expensive watches for woman are over the top ready for a ball gown dinner. So I was drawn to the swiss watch for reminding me of my father's watch but with a simple womans touch added.
