Coffee and "chronometers" indeed are one of the best combos. I usually brew single origin specialty coffee using different kinds of cone drippers.
When I travel, I either bring the Timemore french press (which has a nice thick plastic sleeve instead of a handle)...
or this Rivers steel mesh camping dripper.
