Follow-up on Pocket Watch Display
Last week I posted photos of my grandfather’s 1925 Hamilton pocket watch and wondered how best to display it. I followed the advice of a reply and bought this display case from Amazon. It arrived yesterday and this is how it looks with the watch.

I have seen two/three and even four display variants. But they were in an antique jewelry/estate store in Kansas City. Don't know about pricing or availability, or even if they were bought or just made.
This was all I could find on a quick Google and while nice, it's the price of a decent microbrand!!

Exactly, it's why the two I have so far sit in a drawer when I'm not using them. At this point in my life I'd rather spend that coin on any number of other things, or toddler clothes.....😅🫠

It would be nice to see pocket watches make a comeback. I would definitely rock one in a suit with matching chain
That display is really cool but the pocket was is sofa king amazing 🤩. The details on the case are delightful and the blued hands man ohh man. The open movement parts look mint and it’s Hamilton. I mean come on! This just HAD to be displayed! Awsome job and thanks for sharing this

The funny thing is, I was told this wasn’t worth that much other than the sentimental value. I wish I had photos of my grandfather holding it
