I wish I could move to NYC. NYC is full of such unique places. The only other place with similar vibes that I know of, was a Ukranian - Philippino restaurant in Chicago called, I think, Makatti-Kiev in mid-1980s. But at that restaurant they had 2 chefs, one for each type of cuisine. I wonder if Michael does both, shoe and watch repair, or does he have a shoe maker and a separate watchmaker?

I mean I have no idea how to repair shoes or watches. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Is there an airlock between the two repair sections? Cobbling is a messy business.
