Color is a deeply personal matter. As long as you like this color, what others think is simply not relevant. Also, I do not think I can pull this color off so maybe that colors my opinion of this color, nevertheless you can never go wrong with a Casio (unless it is a GD-X6900GD)

I wouldn't have gone for this color but it definitely does not look childish to me.

I've noticed that many of the HMT watches listed on eBay come with original but old or refurbished movements, although the dials are often repainted and the finishing can be lackluster. When I first started collecting, I accidentally bought a watch with a repainted dial and learned my lesson -- the original dial with factory finish is much better. Also, quality control can be a big issue with some of these "Mumbai Specials" or franken watches on eBay, especially given the low price point. It's important to do your research and be aware of what you're buying to avoid disappointment.

I've been keeping an eye on the current status of HMT watches, and I can tell you that there has been a lot of demand for them lately. In fact, there have been reports of people purchasing them at a premium due to the limited availability.

It's great to see that HMT has relaunched and has a new website up and running. However, I have noticed that the website does not have a wide selection of hand wound movements available. And when they do get listed, they sell out within minutes. It's a shame, but hopefully, they will restock soon and more people can enjoy these classic timepieces.
