Analog (or Mostly) Watch for Runners?

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone here runs longish distances using a watch with a split timer and has a recommendation. I'd prefer solar-powered, like the Bluetooth CasiOak, but I also like the Bulova Lunar Pilot. Are these cool looking watches practical for distance training or is digital really the only way to go? Thanks for all your advice again.

I prefer Garmin watches when running/biking because it logs all of the data for me.

Yeah can't beat that functionality. I would if I were that much more serious and didn't have some unexplainable aversion to smartwatches.

I just wear an ani-digi G-shock. Can’t beat the legibility combined with the timer/stopwatch function.

Any model you’d recommend?

This is my G-100 which I use for running, swimming, cycling and mountain biking and any other sports I find myself doing. It’s easy to read and has the timer/stopwatch function which is really useful.

The casioak does everything that one does but is probably a more trendy option. Otherwise there are loads of G-shocks and regular casios of all different shapes and sizes you just have to search through to find what you like most.

All in all something lightweight with resin or rubber is the way to go for me for sports.
