Q: How did you get into watch collecting?

I always loved having something on my wrist whilst doing activities as a kid. I have since evolved to have a casio F91W on my wrist whilst at the gym. I suppose it just evolved from there with my interest in engineering and passion about design as I take both subjects to high level of education. I love the craft of watch making and would love to design watches, whether professionally or on the side :))

Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

first analogue = Tommy Hillfigure, ik not a respected brand and it is way to big for my 6 and a half inch wrist but my mum bought it for me on my birthday so it will always be treasured.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

I like to think so. I own a vintage watch made by the brand 'Vantage'. I have tried to conduct my own research on the brand but not found much. Saw the watch in facebook advertised by a random antiques store, fell in love and drove to pick it up the next day, beautiful vintage piece.

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?

Make sure to take your time. It may just be a purchase but make sure to pick a good one thats meaningful to you and sure if whats meaningful to you is a fashion watch, go for it, there may be many "better" watches out there but if thats what speaks to you go right ahead. Its also a great idea to attach memories and meanings to your watches, maybe milestones or something like that, makes you enjoy that time piece on your wrist everyday no matter what it is :))

Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?

Kuoe, Brew, Fears, Marloe, Anordain, Maen, Orion, Baltic

Q: What is your grail watch and why?

Right now its the Omega Seamaster 120m 2501.81 from 2006. It's not all that flashy or overly expensive like the AP you might have expected me to say. I could buy it right now but I wish to save it for the right time, when I can cherish the experience and attach the watch to some milestone. Its my grail watch basically because its my birth year watch. I wanted a watch from that time and its such a classic omega I love it.
