Today is the San Martin SN0116 GMT. A well executed NH34 offering from San Martin.

The finishing is great, the movement is solid, the bracelet is fantastic, and the price is mind blowing for what you get. :)

I have become a San Martin fan. They are making quality watches and I have very little bad to say about them.

I’m keeping a keen eyeball on them, in the market for a GMT, just not sure which movement would be best but their prices are insane for the value everyone’s getting

100%! If you are wanting a solid watch with GMT function and not wrapped up in any brand or allegiance … the NH34 and Miyota 9075 are really great options in microbrands and some Chinese made watches, particularly San Martin it seems.

I have this in the more mundane black and it is a very good watch for all the reasons you note. I think SM have a slight shadow over them just because so much of their volume has been homage watches (however good). But when they apply themselves to something original and hit the spot then the quality/value proposition is very strong.

What I particularly like about this watch is that - among a deluge of GMTs - it’s clear, classic and with great dimensions.

Precisely! I purchased my first San Martin late last year and it was the SN0107. It is a Tudor Ranger homage and a friend of mine said that they thought it looked better than the Ranger on wrist, so I dropped a couple hundred and was absolutely floored by the quality. I got the blue gradient dial and must agree with my buddy - the damn watch DOES look better than the actual Ranger on wrist.

That experience is what made me want to grab the SN0116 when the NH34 craze kicked off; once again I was thoroughly impressed. This watch made me a true San Martin fan. I proudly have them in my watch box with much pricier pieces.

I wasn’t brave enough for that colour way but I do like it lots - just not sure it’s me. Love the black though so v happy.

This is a great watch! It’s very well constructed and it’s beautiful! The NH34 movement is absolutely a beast! I’m wearing mine right now! Love it!
