Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have had a love for horology since I was a boy. From 1980’s Swatch to the recent Rolex lineup. A passion I love to share with all.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
1980s digital Casio. I do not remember the reference.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Unfortunately, I do not.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Do not buy every watch you see at a good price. Do your research, go to authorized dealers or places you can try the watch on. Pick a case diameter that fits well on your wrist or whatever you like. I have a small wrist but prefer 39-42mm diameter watches.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Rolex and Tudor especially but I have been looking at Oris and Squale.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Rolex Milgauss black dial. I love this watch that many Rolex collectors hate. It is on my list as my first Rolex. Sooner than later!
