Been looking for an A-11 1940s Elgin USN BuShips Canteen Watch ( a mouthful ) for a bit.
Found an original rebuilt and serviced one for a great deal on eBay and can’t wait to get it in.
Can’t wait to post it up on the WC.

Congratulations, that is a good looking watch. Have you checked out “Vintage Military Watches: A guide for the collectors” by Zaf Basha? It is a great resource for learning more about vintage military watches. If I am not mistaken it gives production run information and specs.
