Thats kind of where I'm at on it, but the gear guy in me looks at all the extra features on the casio and starts drooling, even though I'll probably only ever use the compass and thermometer functions
Thanks! I plan to enjoy this watch for many years. I know that I'll probably buy watches early on that I eventually fall out of love with, but there's always something special about that first piece that gets you into a new hobby.
I will do! I'm really excited, already looking at more featured watches for backpacking. I saw that both Timex and Casio make options with a compass feature, so now i need to decide how much I want to spend and whether I want analog or digital lol
