Felca Sportmaster

Not well known but great watches if you can find them, Felca was the original name of Titoni, a family owned watch maker from Switzerland still operating today.

Picked this up on eBay for $200, the rotor bearing needed replacing but otherwise the movement was in pretty good condition. Replacement bits & pieces are readily available via eBay the calibre is an ETA from the 60’s.

It's a bit of a leap of faith. I took a chance it's only when you open the watch up & check the movement that you can be sure it's genuine. Check the dial condition ask for a macro shot or good close up. You can tell from the applied markers & general condition if it's right for the supposed age, there's some patina that you would expect for the age of the watch. You would be very lucky to find one with a bracelet, especially an original bracelet. Be wary of anything from India they quite often re paint the dials wrecking the watch in the process. Happy hunting.
